About
A violinist who writes for picture
Classically trained, conservatory educated, and equally at home in a DAW as in front of an ensemble.
I write music for film, advertising and media — and I have spent over a decade playing violin in an orchestra, which is still how I hear a score before I write a note of it.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Film Music Composition from ArtEZ Conservatorium. My work has been commissioned by Ludwig & Loehn, Audioforce and Massive Music, and has run in campaigns for Grazia and Vaulie. I have also written pitch scores for brands including Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Waitrose and Vaillant.
I composed the score for the feature film “Taxi Stories”, and have a long background producing synthesiser music and sound design for bands, dance choreography and music theatre — work that shaped how I build texture and atmosphere under a scene.
